What is a serviced apartment?
A serviced apartment is the perfect combination between staying in a hotel and leasing an apartment. We provide the comfort of a hotel including cleaning service, on call manager, broadband access, fresh towels and linen change, but you also have the added convenience and freedom of staying in a spacious fully furnished cozy apartment.
How does Happy Apartments Barcelona prices compare to a Barcelona hotel? Our rates are priced per night, per apartment - not per person, and unlike a hotel you can avoid all the typical hidden service charges associated with hotels, such as Internet use charges, mini bars and room service. Should you need to accommodate a group or a family, then you can opt for one of our cost-effective Two Bedroom apartments that can accommodate up to 6 guests and stretch your budgets even further; why pay for two or three rooms in a traditional hotel?
What is included in the cost?
We include everything to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Our apartments have wireless broadband internet, DVD Players and fully equipped kitchens. We provide all your cooking utensils and cutlery. We change Fresh towels every third day while linen are provided weekly.
How often are the rooms serviced?
Our apartments have maid service weekly. This keeps your apartment looking the way it did when you first arrived and includes a linen and towel change (weekly) and fresh towels every 3 days of your stay.
Can I have daily cleaning?
We can arrange daily cleaning for some extra charge (EUR 35.00 - 55.00 / occasion depending on the size of the apartment) if it is required.
How many people can stay in an apartment?
The One Bedroom apartment with terrace sleeps up to 4 guests, 2 in the doube bedroom and 2 more in the pull out sofá bed in the living room. The Two Bedroom Apartments (both the General and the Superior) sleep up to 6 guests, 4 in the bedrooms and 2 more in the pull out sofá bed. The Three Bedroom apartment sleeps up to 12 guests, 10 in the bedrooms and 2 more in the pull out sofa bed.

What can I expect in my apartment?
Apartments vary in size, from a One Bedroom Apartment through to Two and Three Bedroom apartments with separate living areas. Each apartment have one or two separate bathrooms and toilets of course. All apartments have a kitchen, fully equipped appliances including a fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwashers, crockery (including plates, cups, glasses and pans) with a full suite of utensils. All of the apartments have free wireless Internet access.
Do you provide single beds?
We can prepare single beds instead of double beds in your apartment upon request.
Are the apartments smoking or non-smoking?
All of our apartments are non-smoking, however you can smoke on the balcony or on the therrace of the Two Bedroom Superior and Three Bedroom apartments.
Can I bring pets?
We are very sorry but pets are not alowed in the apartments.
How do I make a reservation?
You can book in a way that is quick and easy for you; use our online secure booking engine, or by contacting our reservations team on +34 618 222 099, or send us an e-mail. Please note, that we require your credit card details to guarantee your reservation.
Is it possible to view an apartment before booking?
Yes. We will be more than happy to show you round, whether its just for you or a corporate booking. Please contact one of our reservation team to arrange a viewing.
Is there a minimum length of stay?
Yes. It is 3 nights. We can accommodate stays of any length, anywhere from 3 days to 3 months or more. We will do everything we can to work with your travel plans whilst in Barcelona whatever the duration.
How far in advance do I have to book my apartment?
There is a high demand for apartment accommodation, as more and more people are now realising the many benefits of this type of accommodation when compared to a traditional hotel. Therefore, we advise that you book as far in advance as possible, particularly at peak times. Of course, we will deal with last-minute bookings, but we may not be able to offer availability on some occasions.
How do I amend my booking?
You can contact us by email or telephone with any amendments you require; for example, you may wish to add nights to your booking, change the apartment type or request daily cleaning. We cannot, however, guarantee availability.
What is the cancellation policy?
If cancelled or modified up to 30 days prior to the date of arrival, no penalty will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, the first night will be charged. How do I pay and when do I pay?
Payment is required upon arrival. For further information on payment and cancellation policies please refer to our terms and conditions page.
How do I check-in?
Check-in is possible from 15:00pm to 18:00 pm. Please let us know in advance your estimated time of arrival.
In case of early arrival our guests can use our luggage room with no extra charge. Early check-in to the apartment upon availability is possible. Fee: 35 EUR.Groups 8-12 guests 75€.
For arrivals after 18:00 you can request a you can request an Auto Check-in at no cost. If this is the case please let us know in advance and we will e-mail you or text you the secret codes to acces your apartment.
What are your opening hours?
Our office is open from Mon – Sun from 9 am to 18 pm and can be found in the same building where our apartments are located on the first floor. However we are available Mon – Sun 24h for you to call us anytime in case of having a problem or a question.
How do I check out?
Check out time is 11 AM but in case of late departure our guests can use our luggage room with extra charge of 5€.
Check-out 11:00. Late check-out of the apartment upon availability is possible with a fee of 35€ ( 60€ for groups 8-12 guests) til 16:00pm or 60€ til 20pm.
How do I make a group booking?
If you want to make a booking for a group for more than 20 persons please contact one of our reservations team to discuss your requirements on +34 618 222 099 or use our contact us form, as we may be able to offer a discounted rate.
Do you offer corporate rates?
Yes. For over several years, companies around the world have used us for business trips, temporary staff relocation and graduate training, because we have the experience, ability and commitment to meet all travel policy demands. Is there on-site parking?
Parking is available next door to the apartments in a guarded underground garage for EUR 35.00 / day. No booking is required.
Are baby cots or high chairs available?
Both baby cots and high chairs are available at our apartments without any extra charge. Please let us know in advance if you require any of them.
What happens if I loose the key of the apartment? That is not posible! At your arrival we will provide you with a personlaized secret code that you will use to enter your apartment.
Is there a safety deposit box in my apartment? Safety deposit boxes are available for our guests in our office with 24/7 access. The cost is 3€/day for the small ones and 5€/day for the larger ones.
